The government has imposed a restriction on going outside the home after 6 pm from today onwards as part of its efforts to strictly implement social distancing and thus prevent coronavirus spread.

“No-one will be allowed to go out of their homes after 6pm. Legal action will be taken if anyone violates this order,” said a gazette notification issued by the Public Administration Ministry on Friday.
It also said the movement of people from one area to another will be restricted.
The notification urged people to stay at their homes to remain safe and prevent the transmission of the virus.
Earlier in the day, the government extended the ongoing general holidays until April 25.
The general holidays which began on March 26 were earlier extended twice until April 14.
Meanwhile, six more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till Friday, raising the death toll to 27.
Besides, 94 more people tested positive for coronavirus during the period, taking the number of such cases in the country to 424.
