Arogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Ministry of Electronics and IT. The app was launched by the Government of India on April 1, 2020, to track coronavirus cases across the country.
Aarogya Setu App is designed to inform its users about the risks, best practices and relevant advice regarding Kovid-19. Tracking is done via a Bluetooth and location-generated social graph, which calculates the user’s risk of infection based on the Kovid-19 patient’s regency and proximity.
Arogya Setu App has a self-test tool, where users are asked many questions. If some answers suggest Kovid symptoms, the information will be sent to a government server. So that the government can take timely steps and start the separation process for that person if needed.
