The giant search engine has revived popular Google doodle games with the ‘Stay and Play at Home’ tagline to encourage people to stay home as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus
Google’s giant search engine has announced that amid a coronavirus pandemic affecting millions of people, it is launching a Doodle throwback series where users will experience some of the most popular and interactive Google Doodle games of the past. . The first Google Doodle game to return is the popular ‘Coding’ game from 2017. Google has developed this Doodle game to celebrate 50 years of Kids Coding.
The Google Doodle game includes the tagline “Stay and Play at Home” to encourage people to stay home as a step towards preventing the spread of coronavirus.
“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people and families everywhere are spending more time at home. In connection with this, we are launching a throwback Doodle series that revisits some of our popular Google Doodle interactive games! ”Google said in a public post.
‘Coding’ features a rabbit and the aim of the game is to make the rabbit collect all the carrots in one level. Players control the rabbit by using simple program codes to place on a program code tray. The game was originally created as a tool to generate interest in coding with children.
All other Doodle games that Google is planning to bring back are currently hidden behind the screen saying “Coming soon”.
Meanwhile, worldwide 2,994,958 coronavirus cases have been confirmed. So far 206,997 patients succumbed to the deadly virus while 878,923 people recovered from the disease.
